AfterSchool Programs - Various reports from the Wallace Foundation (New York based)

For city children and teens who lack access to out-of-school time programs with opportunities for growth, learning and fun, one possible solution – coordinating the work of government agencies, private funders, programs and others involved in after-school programs – is being pioneered by a group of Wallace-supported city (US) efforts.

Various reports on this site describe and evaluate various initiatives such as programs for youth and middle-school children, summer programs, linking after-school programs to classroom curriculum, and a three-volume report detailing lessons from five cities on systems to improve after-school, summer, and other programs.
