The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a Canada-wide self-directed development programme for young Canadians 14 to 25. It is filled with activities that youth do in their spare time - these may vary by province and territory. There are three award levels to achieve; Bronze, Silver and Gold. Achieving an award is as easy as setting and achieving personal goals in the four areas of the programme: Community Service, Skills, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey.
