The HIGH FIVE® Quality Experience Scanning Tool (QUEST 2) was developed by Parks and Recreation Ontario (PRO) in consultation with experts. The QUEST 2 Tool is designed to be used as part of a comprehensive holistic approach that enables service providers to achieve continuous quality improvement over time. It is a scientifically validated tool is used to review, measure and evaluate the extent to which children programs support healthy child development for children aged 6 to 12.
To be able to utilize this Tool, in-person training in HIGH FIVE® QUEST 2 is required. This one-day course helps supervisors improve risk management in children’s programs by learning how to measure quality with the HIGH FIVE scientifically validated QUEST 2 Tool. Supervisors will use the QUEST 2 Tool and learn how to enter their data into the HIGH FIVE Database to track their organization’s progress as well as identify areas of need. They will also learn how to debrief the results of the assessments with staff in a positive way.
HIGH FIVE is delivered across Canada by Authorized Providers. In Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) is the Provincial Coordinator of the initiative, and is more than happy to offer additional information, presentations and support.
