Video, 5 minutes.
This presentation looks at working with 13-19 year olds, discusses the many changes in this age group and how to support their positive growth, and introduces a planning tool called Stepping Stones, which was created by the Ontario Government in 2012. Stepping Stones breaks youth development into stages that are often broken down into four dimensions: Cognitive, Emotional, Social, and Physical. It looks at developmental maps that ask questions such as: What is happening? How can I tell? What can I do? and provides examples.
